Based on today’s decision of the Czech Government to declare a Nationwide State of Emergency for a period of at least 1 month, we unfortunately have to say that CEYOC event is definitively cancelled.
Despite the fact we spent a lot of effort and financial resources to prepare this event, we finally decided that 100% of entry fees will be returned without any deduction *.
But we are not just giving up. The whole event is (almost) completely ready. Including maps, courses or even medals. And we really don’t want to garbage it all out!
During following weeks, we will go into the negotiations with Central European Orienteering Cooperation committee (CEOC) and Czech Orienteering Federation (CSOS) and we hope we will find a solution, which will make this CEYOC with the same programme happening at some future date.
The CEYOC 2020 is unfortunately over. But we hope we will meet soon at the CEYOC 202X in Brno ;-)
