Embargoed area for relay and long distance is forbidden according to the IOF Competition rules (§ 26.5), for all potential CEYOC 2026 athletes, team officials and other persons, who, through knowledge of the terrain, may influence the results of the competitions.

For the sprint distance, a “soft” embargo in the competition area will be applied. It is therefore allowed to entrance the competition area as a resident, student, or tourist. Training with a map or possible testing of procedures is prohibited.
